I am still overly confused about what I want to do. I'm currently in college doing an AVCE computer course.
I guess I still have another year till I'm outta this course and need to do something else though.

really? I'm still not sure where I should apply...
should I work for computer technical something like that?

That music performance sounds like some good fun!

I'm in my first year of college studying Chemistry, I had been planning on getting a degree in Computer Science as well but that would have been too much extra work.

In High School now, almost done, so this thread is like, co-incidental, with my life. Awesome.
I really want to end up in a Mechanical Career, but I also plan to go to Uni. I haven't decided what aspect of Mechanics I want to progress in, but I have Motorcycle Mechanics and Car Computers in mind.
Also, decided to go to a Uni as well. I get good enough grades, so I'll be right, I reckon. Going to do Arts, so I want to do German (done in High School), Japanese (Done in High School), Russian (Start there), Philosophy, Politics, Political Economy, History (Modern). Hopefully they let me do all that, and hopefully I can afford it if I can't do it all at once.

I plan on college or tech school or something, but I'll have to go to the job market first so I can get the ca$h needed for such schooling. I'd have to find a college that'd let me in .

I plan on becoming a web/graphic designer professional. Or maybe Videogame designer but that one isn't likely as it's a hard buisness to get into.

    Yea.

    w00t.
So I make games now sort of. Check the out the one I have in the IGF this year, its totally free: www.mackvswindows.com

    Also add me on things.

Nel, I think you should be able to work best as an entrepreneur since this is a business with alot of people with the same diplomas, so the competition is also stiff. Thus self-employed or working as a consultant would be more economical from the employers pov as well.

Well this doesn't exactly apply to me seeing as how I am already in college but what the hell.

I'm almost done with my first year aiming for a BS in Aerospace Engineering going to a private college in Arizona.

After that I would really like to get into a nice entry level position at Lockheed Martin, Boeing, maybe a car manufacturer like Ford even. As long as the base pay is good I'll be happy seeing as how the cost of living here seems to go up every single year. Oh, and benefits are important too.

On a side note, for those of you who don't want to leave high school or whatever, sometimes you'll feel like you're right back in it the way some people act. Surely the maturity level in college would be higher. One couldn't be more wrong.

Actually I know some very immature people in college who were ironically much wiser and mature in school. College makes most women fucking bitches.

I'' go to college. Study economics, make money. Something around there, if not, I can always pursue a path of street life as a pimp.

Also, if anyone here says they want to work on a help-line, your dead. What should have been a 5-minute call to get my DSL up-and-running after an update turned into a hour long call because I didn't know what the hell was being said on the other end of the line.

Total BS. Your gonna lead a world-wide Communist rebelion, only to die in the most-hardcore fashion imagineable. After which, a statue of you will be built in Leningrad (St. Petersburg today, I think. Need a map.)
