    Default Jungle Book NES

    Hey,
I'm playing the Jungle Book on NES and when I start playing the game the background is in black and the guy is a yellow stick figure. Is this how the game is supposed to look? If someone can please help me that would be great.

    Thanks,

P.S. I'm using Nesticle95. (I have a slow computer, please don't throw stones at me!)

Edit: we won't throw stones, just please don't use unreadable colors.

Maybe it is a option in the options menu? I have never used NES emulators, but I know with some emulators, you can pick an option to just framewire (Chankast), or whatever it is called. Also, try hitting some numbers, in a SNES emulator, you can remove backgrounds/sprites and stuff.

Then try re-enabling the sprites like Falados suggested.

I haven't emulated a NES game in ages. Did you check the numbers on your keyboard? That is how Snes9x worked, I doubt it will be the same, but it's worth a try

oops, posted at same time as you, didn't notice, if you can't figure out how to get the background or sprites, or whatever is disabled back up, then try another emulator, like Polobunny suggested, if you don't like those, go to www.emulationstation.com they have good NES and SNES stuff.

    Default enable sprites

How do you enable the sprites? I'm running on Windows 98 platform and I don't want my computer to crash because my computer is too slow...
