Big Boss or Solid Snake?

Who is the main character going to be in Metal Gear Solid 3?..................I think it will be Big Boss............

I think it is Big Boss becuase it takes place before snake would have been born. That's what I have heard. I am new to MGS.

I think it's going to be both because well if you look closly in the trailer, its big boss walkin out of the flamse. but then again I think they will allow you to play another part as snake like in MGS2 where you play two different parts. But that what I think.

It's not confirmed yet. Kojima said to refer to him in the mean time by his code name, which is Snake. But I'm assuming it's Big Boss. Because of the age thing, and from the movie I saw, he seems to have a battered eye.

But the strange thing is that you can see Snake with both two eyes, and one eye in the trailer.

Bleh, Kojima loves to mess with peoples minds through trailers... It was like the previews of Metal Gear Solid 2 that showed scenes that only Raiden was present in (such as the fight with Fortune) being played as Snake He suckered me good into thinking I'd be playing as Snake the whole game so... I'm interested to see what's up with this

I`m pretty sure that Mr Kojima have some tricks up his sleeve...what you see in the trailer may be like a, uhm, yeah, like in MGS2.

i think it will be solid snake. how can they meke the main character die in the end. or do i know nothing, and big boss is going to be like gray fox.

It doesn't really matter to me who the main character is as long as it is not that little pansy boy Raiden.

It will probably be Big Boss since Kojima has confirmed that the game takes place in the early 60's Cold War era........I think he said that you stay with the same character throughout the game.................so Solid Snake will probably sit this one out till Metal Gear Solid 4................"Back to the Origin" probably means going back to the origin of Metal Gear's development by the Soviets.............or it means going back to the origin of the Snake clones.......Big Boss would be Liquid's, Solid's, and Solidus' "father".......hence, "Back to the Origin".........Big Boss was probably just called Snake when he was a junior member of FoxHound.................Kojima called the character "Snake"...........not "Solid Snake"...........I could be wrong of course.............

I think its Big Boss because of

1. At the end of the trailer he is missing an eye like Big Boss
2. Wasnt Big Boss called Snake as well?
3. I think its in the 60 or early 70's because of the gear and the weapon he is carrying, and the camoflauge is tiger stripe.
4. If it was in the 60's the story line wouldnt fit in because didnt Snake fight in the Gulf War as a teenager (like 19?).
