just finished up far cry 2 pretty long game for an FPS.
it wasn't a bad game there were things I liked and some I disliked also the story kinda got lazy near the end

Spoiler warning:

it just became a backstab feast yuo kill one leader so his underling can take his place then you kill that guy you end up helping the jackal your buddy(if you have one left at that point) betrays you and tries to kill you, you kill the last two faction leaders then you and the jackal die(at least the route I chose we did)

things I liked: large open world, nice selection of guns(though IEDS should have taken up a grenade slot and not the secondary weapon slot) vehicles(the big truck was rather useless/under utilized and the hang gliders controls were utter shit)
things I disliked: enemy respawns at cleared at guard posts(the spawn times should be been increased or done away with on low difficulty) travel(due to the first point and large map) fast travel(it just needed a few other travel points) side missions(the game could have indicated of these instead of the player finding out too late in the game that they could have been done sooner) oh and stealth(it was useless to try and be stealthy even the camo suit didn't make it any easier to sneak up on enemies or not be seen even at night)
