Yeah... emulators are great for convenience, but all things equal I'll take the original consoles and controllers any day if the trade off is actually cleaning my shit once in a while. It's like a vinyl record vs a CD. It's just a different experience.

Retroarch really is pretty awesome once you've got it set up correctly though.

no I'm just having trouble reaching the final palace I was going to grind a couple extra lives but I lost 1 then as I was trying to get back to town I got knocked into a pit and lost a second then I stopped playing.
oddly enough the battery is still good the only game I've had a battery fry in was my copy of golden sun.

Shady back alley deal or just lucky on Ebay? Of course back then it was probably worth closer to that. It's all exploded lately. I look at what I paid/traded for good SCD and Saturn games 2 or so years ago and look at Ebay values now and it's gigawat.

Also I'm not sure why I said Aero Blasters. I have PCE on the brain. Aero Fighters is the nutty SNES game. Iirc the Aero Fighters team made Strikers 1945 (great game alert).
