Default Need help with mm3 on pu18 board

I've never programmed psx chips before so bought a pickit 3 and a few pic12f6269

I downloaded the patched version for the pics that I bought and burned it to the pic

    I then used this diagram:
    10houft.jpg

I've got the pic wired on a small piece of veroboard outside case With the hope of trying various firmware through ICSP

I can't seem to play any backups at all and not sure of next step to take. I've checked voltage on chip and seems ok

    Any advice?

    Cheers

Not sure if there are any members here that have done that sort of thing. I mean there are people here that have installed ps1 modchips and some people that have programmed chips, but I'm not sure if there is any active member here that has programmed ps1 chips

I'd have a look on a site such as assemblergames.

    Spoiler warning:

    Ok thanks,

I really need a known working hex file and diagram for pu-18 motherboard. There's so many odd bits scattered around that it gets confusing.

Are you positive you found the hex file for the 12f629 and not the 12C508?

Also, you do mean 12f629 and not 12f6269, right?

Yeah, that's why I think you need to look/ask somewhere that probably has more people with expertise.

Yes that's what I meant. Sorry I'm up late trying to research

The file I have is from Eurasia pic12f629 pack. It's the one converted to work with the mentioned pic

Hi, how are you. Im a really big fan of PS1 and I've hard modded 3 already, 2 for me and one for a friend. I have never programmed a PS1 chip but I can help you to mod yours and you dont have to program the chip. Simply go to this website http://www.eurasia.nu/ and buy a MM3 ModChip from them. Is only about 5 dollars and is already programmed. All you have to do is install the chip. I have done it 3 times with the same modchip from this site and works like a charm. I hope you can do it and enjoy you PS1 I own 2 and I love it.
