Um yeah I wouldn't buy stuff like that. I have a ton of quality cat5e and cat6 cable I got from a dude so I make my own cables, have for years. None of them have ever failed, except if you count the plugs I've had to replace for my sister and the folks (the tabs get broken by kids).

Understandable. But in my case I got all the cable for free. Bought a cheap network kit that had a crimping tool, plugs and some wall plates...wired my house and kept making cables. Even got another couple hundred metres of cat5e again recently. Handy stuff 'cos you can strip the wires out and use it for other things, or just use the cable as is for many things anyway.

I started playing FFXIV yesterday. It's actually a lot of fun. I only killed a squirrel and a ladybug (harder than it sounds), but it was nice and responsive and my potatobox can play it at 30fps+.

Fuckin ladybugs will become invulnerable and heal if they manage to run away.
