Beat The Wolf Among Us Ep 1 (PC) twice.... back to back. Had to try some different routes and conversations.
Awesome game. Can't wait for EP 2!

Finished the Walking Dead (Telltale) on PC.

It took a little while to get going, but it really picked up midway through episode 2 and I got hooked. I'm not into the Walking Dead TV show, and I'm just about sick of zombie games in general, but for the most part this game was really entertaining. I don't think it's quite game of the year material like sooooo many websites proclaimed, mainly because the term "game" is used pretty loosely here (more of a choose your own adventure storybook), but whatever.

Also playing the Wolf Among Us first put a bit of a damper on this one - it's a far better tuned game experience.

Anyway, good game, I actually really felt bad for some of the characters and the ending really made me feel sorry for certain characters. It's been awhile since a game has evoked emotions.

I don't think it warranted all of the GOTY nods that it got, but it was definitely a great game, and one of the few storylines out there that had me caring about any of the characters at all. I recommend it to pretty much everyone. Gonna replay that one on Vita sometime in the near future.

True Ending of Special was a bitch if I didn't persuade my sister to help my ass out on Magician.

Gone Home. The cynical part of me thinks this game chose topics such as the Don't ask don't tell policy and the lesbian love in order to appeal to a hot topic at the moment in order to gain popularity, I recently beat Amnesia the dark descent and was annoyed at the lack of actual gameplay in the game and how these games are more like interactive films than actual games, they probably appeal to more than me but whatever. If the topic was close to the bone for some people than I could see Gone Home being loved by some people but honestly I think it was a bit over-hyped, I did enjoy however how it initially played itself off as a horror game only to abandon it. I think this game is being overhyped since it's touching on a topical issue and that otherwise it might not gain the same attention.

I beat Crimson Shroud, what a downer ending that was. Lovely game, my only complaint is that it didn't pose much of a challenge, even with final boss(es). On to New Game+ now, as I'm quite eager to see the extra content/alternate ending now.

Yeah, I agree it is tremendously overhyped but I recommend giving this a read in case you missed the subtle hints during your playthrough like I did:
