I was actually referring to my experience upon finishing RE4.
It always bothered me that there wasn't like Black suits throwing you the latest weaponry, I mean, the fucking Presiden't daughter. I'm sure there would be some secret assembly of elites sent to grab her. But that's just me.

The daughter was supposed to die so that the president would have grounds to fight a war.

Because a man can't appear in Resident Evil unless he's either A.) A victim, B.) a military hero guy with a troubled past, or c.) the villain.

As such, the president is clearly the third option.
