Getting Jpcsp to work on a mac; can't find umdimages folder
It has been hell setting this thing up to work on my mac... I'm trying to play Persona 3 Portable.
So I got the iso, the emulator is functioning, I downloaded a thing to unzip the file with, but now I can't find the umdimages folder to put the game iso into so I can play it.
I downloaded the emulator from the official site latest version and everything. When I did that I got this: http://oi50.tinypic.com/8zpjph.jpg
It is a 7z file I guess so I extracted it using 'the unarchiver' because 7z doesn't work on mac and it was easier to get than WinRar.
Anyway, once I did that I got these two files on ether sides of it: http://oi45.tinypic.com/1zqug60.jpg
The application itself and some kind of .tar file. (I don't know what that means)
The .tar file doesn't open into anything. If I try to open it it just opens like a duplicate of the application. If I try to open the original thing again it opens a duplicate of the .tar file.
Now at this point there should be a folder I can access for the umdimages because I know they're there 'cuz the tests work, but I can't find the folder or open anything more to save my life. I tried searching for the file too but nothing came up.
You can also see here that it doesn't have any arrows I can click to further open the file. http://oi46.tinypic.com/1z93wj.jpg
omg help me. I made my account here just to ask this question because I couldn't find the answer on google.
Am I doing something wrong? Is it painfully obvious? I tried to list all the details so please help me.
And another thing, even if do get the game working, will I not have sound no matter what I do because I can't have Sonic Stage? Are there ANY replacements? Why'd they even made a mac version of Jpcsp if it can't support sound??

There isn't a version of 7zip for Mac, but there are unofficial p7zip variants:
http://www.7-zip.org/download.html
Scroll down on that page and you'll see some options available for your OS.
The 2 files you see on the right in this image:
http://oi45.tinypic.com/1zqug60.jpg
Appear to be archives (.tar and .7z are archive formats).
Don't know anything about this emu really, but I seem to recall all OS variants need Sonic Stage to solve audio issues

If you can afford a Mac you can probably afford an actual console anyway, maybe it would be less messing around.

I think I'm gonna try using a different file extractor and see what that does.
And also my dad gave me the mac, it's like 7 years old. I don't want to buy the console because it's old and P3P is really the only game that I care about playing on it.
Thanks for your input anyway.
EDIT:
I finally found it omg I put it on my desktop and I clicked "Show Package Contents" and I found the folder!! But now I have a new problem. I put the iso in the umdimages folder but when I try to open it on the emulator it doesn't show up. My mac says it's a normal document and not an ISO disk image. Is it the iso itself or do I have to do something to it
The file says .iso.torrent. What do I do with it?
