The cooking mama made me sick, I turned it off quickly. It takes a lot to disturb me, but that did it.

How did it make you sick?
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

That doesn't sound all that bad. I have been a vegetarian for five years and cut meat for 4 of them.

Anyone know if you can run your DS on your computer monitor with an Acekard2i? All I can find is stuff about R4Rev.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that you could hard mod it. Maybe there are even kits available
No idea about any software/hack method you could use though...and there was at least one addon that did the job, but it was expensive and I have no idea if it was ever available to the public (IS-NITRO-CAPTURE iirc).

Snow advisory goes into effect at 6 AM. I'm working by myself tomorrow.

    Joy.

Ever tried using a flame thrower to deal with snow?

No, but if it's light fluffy snow, I have used a leaf blower

Another thing you could try is a large gas (LPG) jet heater. Difficult to move around though

    I hate summer
And it seems to be getting hotter now than when I was younger.
I don't remember getting 40c days in my region back then, but we get several days like that now every summer.
