Yeah, I really should have. I was pretty pissed off, and I don't know why I didn't return it - probably just general laziness. And what's really shady about the whole thing is I'm pretty sure the Gold Edition actually came on two discs, and the code just unlocked the content on the second DLC disc. I could be wrong, but I'd be willing to bet that my memory is correct

I had World at war on 360 and it was pretty good. Spent a lot of time with a buddy doing splitscreen with the zombie thing . Always wanted to get Dragonage but never got around to it.

Getting a PS3 again, pretty settled on that I think. The bundles seem to be cheaper now even vs the 360 and won't have to spend extra to get a play and charge pack for the 360 which always pissed me off.

Just wanted to check what platform 'cos with 360 you can just get a dirt cheap secondhand copy of DA basic edition (which isn't worth anything at all really) and then pirate the drm free dlc's.
Same story with Mafia II and various Bethesda games.

I don't use play and charge.
I've been using rechargeable batteries for heaps of things for years, so I've got a good rotation routine

360 bundles are still cheaper than ps3 here (both variants) although the ps3 ultimately has larger HDD's.
But I'm pretty sure 360 games take up less space anyway, so

Just checked, and there's a $100 difference between the 500GB ps3 and the 250GB Xbox 360 (both are bundle prices).

A general rule of thumb that I follow is to never buy anything used that comes with redeemable codes inside, unless I don't care about those items.

I've been surprisingly lucky with codes in used stuff.
But I usually avoid buying used if it's something I'm mad keen about and definitely want the codes to work.

I do too, but this game came out before the whole DLC code revolution happened, and with it being on 2 discs I didn't think anything of it. I learned my lesson, that's for sure.

I have two on Tuesday and a massive cert someday after. I get to choose when. Its my very last semester so its pretty light in comparin to past semesters but I do also have to write about 16 pages of "journals" and a "what did I learn" paper for the internship that I worked all semester.

Well that's the rub, 360 is generally cheaper but you're getting less stuff. Also with bundles that come with a game they seem to be much better games with the PS3 and the prices on the PS3 have come down now anyways too.
