I was a die hard 3.6 user until I tried 5.0. Since then I have been updated to 8.0.1 and am still happier than when I had 3.
These later versions removed half, if not more of the task bars and nonsense that was hindering my view of the internet. All of the capabilities are still present, but in a much more ergonomic setting.

I tried 5, what a horrible experience . Whatever version they decide to make look like 3, I'll give it a go.

Someone dropped a TV on my plant. Dead serious too.
I had a golden Plum tree that I nurtured from a pit outside on my porch and the tenants above me broke up or something. Next thing I know a 24" CRT comes down on top of it.

It was a large plastic pot so the fall was completely adsorbed by the soil ....and tree. Needless to say, I claimed the TV.

My buddy dropped my cactus on himself. It was good times. For me that is.
