This laptop can run Black Ops. It's official, it runs my entire steam library. Core i5 2430m ftw.

Ok, ok....so the SLIM PS3 does NOT play PS2 games, but DOES play PSX...? Weird... Let me put it this way; which model number/style should I be looking for if I want as much 'open-endedness' as possible? I'd like for it to be able to play PSX, PS2, and (obviously..) PS3.

I will be choosing a second-hand system, but hardly used. In case of any technical shortfalls, I have a small crew of guys and gals that do my repair stuff for me, locally...
(You know what I mean, you always hear the stories of the 'ring of death', and used systems having issues that cause them to lock-up and whatnot...making sure that these things DONT happen to us..)

What IS the deal with these recent failings, anyhow? We have several PS2s, and the one that we use most, a 'Fat' model that looks like it has lived through WWIII, is absolutely DIEhard; I swear, this thing has taken more abuse than Lindsay Lohan at a meth orgy.

Wonder why the newer consoles seem far more frail than those of past generations? I bet it has something to do with A.) declining standards for manufacturing, and B.) these systems relying heavily on internet usage. I have never once played an 'on-line' game via a video game system, and I dont believe that I ever would..

    Thanks again!

Thanks, mate, but meh....no need, really. We have well over 100 PS2 games at the time, and with them costing $2 each at the local pawns, emulation really isnt called for.
I actually cant think of too many more PS2 games that I NEED...

I have to hook-up the ol' girl soon...blow the dust out of the fan......I have had a hard-on for Resident Evil 4 for some time now..
(So WHAT if I have beaten the game 30+ times?? I love it to pieces, its pretty much the ideal game for me, wish there were 100 more JUST like it....)
