I stream everything to my PS3 and watch it on the TV.

I'd probably have more films if in 2011 people didn't still insist on splitting movies into half a dozen parts and sharing them on shitacular filehosts that make you wait 20 minutes between each download. :/

I used to stream stuff to my PS3, but then I started getting filetypes that PS3 didn't recognize. And randomly it would lose the connection in the middle, etc. In the end, I just ran out of the desire to keep fiddling with it, and gave up.

I've had slow internet for a long time.Fastest speed I ever had was 512/128 adsl.......but now I've only got 256/64
I just download 24/7

I'll be changing to 1500/768 soon, which will be better but certainly not fantastic.

I get around 1.5-2Mb/sec but I have a monthly usage cap that applies between 7am and midnight, so really the only way I get around it is to queue downloads overnight.

They do for a lot of stuff, it's just a matter of searching using the release name and looking around
But I also queue megashares, rapidshare and letitbit links as well.

I use PS3 Media Server. It converts incompatible files and you can choose different quality presets so it doesn't have to buffer. My fat PS3 seemed to lag regardless of what settings I used, but the wireless was shit on that thing anyway. 30% signal strength vs >90% with the slim, and the modem's always been in the next room. :/

I don't see many movie/tv scene releases on MF really.......sometimes music I grab will be on it though, and some games.

I always grab albums off Mediafire or Megaupload. Movies is Megaupload. Torrents are a last resort nowadays.

Agreed. Or if they have to split them, Mediafire. Actually everyone should just use Mediafire anyway. I swear that site is the only good filehost on the internet. I had 30+ files downloading in parallel from there the other night.

There are no limits on the number, space in GB, or speed of what you download from Mediafire. Anything that means less Filesonic is a good thing.
