Actually, it's not a huge deal that I've temporarily abandoned playing FC. If I ever finish it, I'd probably be longing for the sequels.

If the games over there are NTSC-U though they won't play on a PAL console.

I read that the slim ones are dual voltage. :O Though right enough, you'd have trouble actually playing games from your region on it.
