Nah, it's not really that bad, the areas you spawn in are usually protected. Now... the areas directly outside of the starting spots... not so much.

It's still fun though, and it's a good way to see what the game is like without having to fork over any money for it.

Jase is right about WoW though, it totally caters to casuals now, even more so than it used to. Still, it's fucking addicting. Even after years of not playing I still have the occasional withdrawals.

Yeah I feel you. I quit a little while after BC came out, and I never got into endgame raiding or anything, but I was still to the point where it was starting to affect my social life. It's even worse when you play with rl friends, because we would all just meet up, smoke a couple bowls and then go home and get online. Shit was fun but it gets old after awhile.

I remember when my friend originally started playing though, after he maxed his character he was raiding MC and ZG like every single night. It literally becomes like a second job.
