Unhappy Psp Slim problems (not Software i think)

So I got Psp Dark Vader and the home start w/e main buttons is messed up.
When my VSH is on no buttosn work, when its off though i'm able to move around freely but when i try to use keyboard it enters then exits out and while in game home button freexes while i think its the select button things are entered before i do anything.

Now i'm assuming this is a hardware issue something to do with the physical components (buttons) so i have been trying to open my psp up but i stripped a screw, 1 of the 2 on the top from trial and error of finding the right screw drivers which i know now are #0,00,and #000.

So if anyone can suggest a way to fix the screw and where to get parts for my psp 2001 slim (Dark vader) i'd apperciate it. Thank you

Also i know this may not be this sites main area of expertise but hope u could help.

Really sounds like they just need cleaned out, if anything. Did you maybe spill something in them or something?
Also, please refresh my memory, what is VSH?
