Homeschooling is less effective than real school (not to mention the importance of real school for developing social interactions - lol, I talk to about 4 people per week at school and that would probably drop to about 4 people per month without labs).
Stress is important - it forces us to perform better.
Anyways, I just came back to wish you guys the best of luck! Especially university/college students! Too bad that each exam is worth so much so that there are no room for mistakes at all.
Weighting (PHYSL 211):
1st exam: 25%
2nd exam: 25%
3rd exam: 50%
(or something to that effect).
Some other courses have two exams, which means 50-50%.
Profs don't care whether you come to class or not - in fact, they often don't care whether you learn or not.

Laguna, that's bullsh!t. I'm 15 and I took the PSAT. I got a 51 on writing skills, 70something or other on verbal skills, and I sucked REAL hard on my math. I'm not good with math, and I think I'll never be very good with it. Complacated math has been always been my weak point. While it can be inferred, I want to state for the record I'm homeschooled. Edit: I added two sentences, and took out two sentences.

Dont worry about all that talk about homeschooling not being as effective as a regular school. Some people do learn differently. Maybe homeschool is best for you as it keeps you away from distractions and helps you concentrate more on work. I guess the reason laguna would say that is because many children are not as lucky as you Zerostrike and dont wouldnt get as high results as yourself. My only advice is if you think homeschool is really helping you go for it then. If your just homeschooling for the sake of staying home be prepared to meet lifes many twist and turns when schools done.

Regular school isn't that bad... but Virtual School... geez, how lame can you get? You can't meet people or anything. How can you have a girlfriend over the internet? How do you do chemistry experiments at home? You don't just find tubes of sulphuric acid and magnesium oxide casually hanging around in your cereal cupboard... and how do do play sport?
Regular School owns Virtual School in all respects. And that's a fact that I and many other people agree on.

Or it could get hacked...
Just imagine, the school would crash eveytime the teacher tried to open a cupboard or something.
