And I'm not even going to bother backreading. I've been visiting with my family for two days, I'm sure there's about thirty pages of convo that I've missed.

I'm so glad that "today's visitors" thing is gone.

Also, totally want to buy some more PS3 games, but I don't know what to get. But I did pick up a TV on Boxing Day. YAY FOR UPGRADING FROM CRT

I've been using a 32" fullscreen CRT for the last... five years or so, now. I stood in line at Best Buy for their Boxing Day sale the other day (half pissed off rye, in the rain, with a couple of my buddies, one of whom was only in town for a few days and I wish I could invite him back to EP but he would totally lose his job if they found out), and bought a 42" Samsung 720p plasma for $399.

    I'll take it.

nice. I'm gonna go full 1080p, just because. If I'm gonna spend a bunch of cash I may as well go for broke

good deal though, I only hope I get the cash before all the good deals are gone/out of stock or whatever

The only reason I even bought this was because I had a bit of extra cash floating around, I had enough liquor in me to make an informed decision, and I wanted to upgrade. And I'm cheap. I couldn't afford the full 1080p, otherwise I would have gotten it, but even with the Boxing Day sales prices there were about $250 above what I wanted to spend.

Ouch yeah they are pricey. I'm not gonna go crazy 50 inch or anything. My place is small anyways so even around 30 inch is fine for me. Then the hdmi cable for the box will be expensive too. Damn bastards, why do accessories have to be so expensive?

Sony 32" lcd full 1080p tv's are on sale here atm.
Advertised for well under $500au.......even cheaper if you pay cash.

I already have one, and although it'd be nice to have another I'll be spending some money on an x360 and some more gamez.
