See, you're the sort of player who spams throws, turtles for three-quarters of a match, and who exploits openings that the other player presents when he gets tired of it, while leaving very few exploitable openings of your own. There's nothing wrong with that mind you. It's a solid strategy, but since it doesn't leave much of an opening for me to break through, I just figured I'd mess around and throw you.

I loved it when you and I were going back and forth with the throws for awhile there.
    Mikey is an awesome analyst.

He will analyze your play style and turn it against you.

I'm not great. I play with my gut, rather than with my head.

I try too hard to initiate attacks, often rushing head-first into otherwise avoidable moves or combos. I don't pay attention to what counter-attacks I should be using at any given time. I let myself get impatient when I play against a person who turtles. I usually can't get my special moves to work reliably.

I'm basically pretty fucking bad at the game, but for some reason I manage to get by alright.

Every time? I don't recall every time.

    Really? Shit.

    Hehe!

    Spoiler warning:
If you wanna beat me, play defense and only defense, while using my own strategy against me. Elin has it down flat.

Really? Why? Go mod you Wii, and you can be just like me . Except it sucks because when the US version finally releases, I have to do all that work over again .

Yeah, it's fine, but in order to be effective, I have to do the same. And I just can't. I can't stand back and not fight, y'know? So you've got an advantage over me, because I'll rush to initiate combat just because I have a natural aversion to turtling.

Though I did notice that I did better when I played the defensive. Though I'm so out of practice that I don't really remember any defensive techniques, like the one you had with Spiderman, so I'm not that much more effective.

Honestly, it's fun to play against you, but at the same time it's frustrating, and will be until I remember how the fuck to play this game effectively.

Ah, but because you play with your instincts, you can generally react better (in most cases anyway).

It's called camping, not turtling. Or is that just for FPS games.

    And stop saying you're bad.

I could if I had the patience, but to me, a fighting game is about the fighting, not about waiting in the corner for your opponent to get tired of you...waiting in the corner.

To be fair to Mikey, he does take the offensive, so he's not the sort of turtling bastard that really gets right up my ass. He's got an all-around solid game, and if I want to beat him, I'm going to have to practice. Whenever I get the chance to do that.
