Default Devil May Cry (NTSC) and Swap Magic 3.6

I burned Devil May Cry (NTSC) from the tracker on a DVD-R with DVD Decrypter. When booting it up with Swap Magic, I initially get the Capcom logo, it's followed by a violence warning, and then it freezes.

I've snatched and burned a number of games already, such as Final Fantasy X and Super Robot Wars MX, and never really had any issues with them (except for Growlanser).

I feel like I'm missing something obvious, like maybe I'm burning on the wrong medium, or that I don't have a certain option enabled when I burn, but I don't know what.

The PS2 often doesn't like DVD-Rs. Try using DVD+Rs instead.

The game you try to boot (4.37gb) has a bigger TOC than Swap Magic (4.35gb), you'll have to refresh the TOC with a bigger TOC original game. Check this DVD TOC list out:

Thanks. I was afraid of that. I even tried rebuilding the game before burning it, but it was pretty pointless. Guess it's time to pull out the wallet.
