    Default Nintendo DS Card

Which should I buy, R4, M3 Simply. I am looking for compatibility and ease of use and also just make sure it fits well inside the DS if that is ever a problem. Also, price is a big one and where the hell I get one that isn't backordered, and new. I might not end up buying one, but I do have the money for it. Also, tell me if DS emulation on the PC is likely to make it not have slowdowns that are great, (tried Pokemon Diamond, playable but not great, as far as speed). Thanks. I know there is an official thread, but nothing really about this.

What site did you get it from and how long did it take for you to get it?

R4 and M3 DS Simply are the same card basically, but with different firmwares. Back when they first launched the two cards, you could open one up, mess with something (I forget what), and you could turn your M3 DS Simply into an R4 (or vise versa).

Both are supposed to have 100% compatibility with DS roms, so it's really up to you which one you get.

Alright really want to know where to purchase one, but thanks for the info, is there a good NDS one with GBA compatibility, though that is not the main reason I want one (and CPU emulation is excellent for those games, just not portable).

You'd have to purchase a slot-2 cart for GBA roms, the R4 and M3 DS Simply are what are known as slot-1 carts because they go in the DS game slot (aka slot-1).

I bought my M3 Perfect MiniSD from http://www.realhotstuff.com, They shipped it to me cross-country in 3 days.

Forgot to ask, do these work for the original Nintendo DS? Not the Lite, I do not have one.

Alright, I think I will purchase from the site you gave me sometime soon (no rush since no shipment on Sunday). But maybe later on tonight unless someone can give me an alternative (like free shipping or something). Can anyone give me a link that works for both cards?

Also, is this the thing you bought, is it worth the buy? (costs more), and does it really play NES and SNES games?

Now, didnt you ask, for a compatibility list? Also the reviews would cover the ease of use portion, also there are links via the reviews that lead to online shops.

    PWNED.

My R4DS review has a link to where I bought mine and it was free shipping but it took 4 week to get it. Although considering I've not had to buy a DS games since it paid for itself in no time so it didn't matter how long I had to wait. They shipped it all the way from Japan so that's why it took so long.

    [EDIT]
Aw man they have the R4DS for less then when I bought it now...

and that is with a 1GB Kingston microSD card. I believe that site also sells the M3 Simply possibly with free shipping as well.

I may use this, I am looking at the M3 adaptor (read review here), looks good but does it require extra equipment? And does the carts I am looking at require extra equipment as well. Also, does the M3 adaptor really suppport SNES ROMS and NES ROMS, if anyone knows, not the major feature I am looking for, but would be a deciding factor.

Default Emu for DS, is this the best deal?

Sorry about another topic, but just trying to make it more organized in a sense and hope no one gets pissed at me about this.

    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1459

Is that all you need to make NDS ROMS work? I heard this does not play GBA ROMS, is there something that isn't significantly more or you could still link me to the cheapest one you know of. Or if this site has a bad track record. I would really, really like to play GBA ROMS, but all I could find was one hundred dollars more basically for that one feature (though I added it all separately,), no rush since it's Sunday, but would be cool to order it on Sunday. I don't want to make the wrong purchase so this is important to me. Capability to run NES ROMs etc... are a pro too.
