A Final Fantasy FanFict Novel/Comic
Hi guys. I was thinking of writing a series of novels (not for publish, just fun) of Final Fantasy. We're also planning a film (the thread for this is in the media section of the forums) which is meant to be complete homage to the game.
This novel/comic on the other hand is my take if I was a staff writer of SquareEnix...
Here's my take on the story:
Final Fantasy
The Light of Dawn
In the land of Gaia, the Empire of Palamecia is conquering its three neighboring kingdoms with brutal force to gain hold of their crystals. The emperor himself, Cid Dragus, is sauntering through war-torn lands with his lance in one hand and dark spells in the other.
Princess Sarah of the Kingdom of Fabul has sent her army to their death when Cid came to their borders. Only one man survived: The knight/blue mage Lucian Graveus. (Lucian is a physically attributed knight, fighting with a blade known as the Save the Queen and has a mystical capability of copying an adversary's skill.)
Lucian enlists the aid of Cain, a fellow warrior and former knight of the kingdom. Cain is a gunmage. He, solemn and usually nihilistic in nature, believes only in the destructive magic he blows out of the barrel of his gun.
As the story progresses (I don't have a detailed plot yet) they are joined by an archer/summoner. (She shoots arrows that turn into summons.) Also joining them is a female monk/white mage. (Yep, a girl who fights with fists and can heal since that what our real monks are trained to do!)
Anyway I'm thinking of a plot where Cid reveals to be Lucian's father or maybe the former ruler of all four kingdoms from an era long long ago. Since I made Cid here a dragoon/dark knight he should resemble Cid Highwind (FF VII)a little bit and I plan to make him own a powerful airship ala Dreadnaught of FF II.
Of course moogles and chocobos will appear.
As for summons Im planning to put the following:
Ifrit
Shiva
Ramuh
Leviathan
Golem
Phoenix
Diablos
Bahamut
