    Default PS2 Emulator Problems

I downloaded the emulator from here:

    PCSX2 1.2.1-r5875
    http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/ps2/pcsx2.html

Then downloaded the bios pack from here:
    http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?98125

I then placed the bios files in the bios folder and pointed to it.

I then downloaded Raiden III from here:
    http://www.emuparadise.me/Sony_Plays...51155-download

I then pointed to the Raiden III bin file from the CDVD menu and it loaded but it stuck on a screen where it asked if I wanted to create a memory card. I had to select 'YES' but not a single button was working on the keyboard or the XBOX360 fro Windows controller.

    What am I doing wrong?

    System Spec.

    Dell Studio XPS 8100
    i750
    ATi HD5770
    6GB RAM
    2TB HD

Emulator zone is the place you do NOT want any thing from, severely outdated.

Thanks. I managed to get it working anyway.

Separate question. Sega Naomi Emulator. I downloaded Ikaruga, pointed to it and did File>>Run Naomi. However it asks for an Ikaruga.bin file. The emu download only gave a dat file, what am I missing? I'm using the Demul emulator as recommended by emu:

Naomi is a tad tricky, you need extra files to tell NullDC how to the images and I can't remember ATM, not on my current PC.

Regarding PCSX2 you want to update to the latest version because its much more stable and playable.

    Okay, I will.

I've found another problem on the PS2 emulator. On Tekken 5, the stick movement doesn't work, whereas it does on Raiden III.

Okay, so how can you actually move? The keys and Dpad don't work either.

Des your PS2 emulator link include all the bios files in the first zip?

Have you tried using the directional pad to move on Tekken 5 instead? You'll need to configure it first under config, controllers (PAD), plugin settings first though if you haven't already.

    EDIT
Oops guess Warrior beat me to it while I was typing up the post.

No, they are official builds from the authors, BIOS files are illegal to spread so do the math why they are not included with the emulator.

Bios doesn't really matter you can just keep the one you have plus you can just install any new versions of pcsx2 over the old which will keep your bios and settings etc anyways.

I've figured out the Sega Naomi. You need the chd file from the MAME download of the game. The only thing I can't figure with Demul is how to make it full screen. Can't get the Controller working either. Any ideas?

Thanks for all the help BTW.

You could try looking up XPadder or Joy2Key. They map your controller buttons as keyboard keys.

I solved the controller problem by using v5.7 of Demul instead of v5.6.

I got the Ikaruga game working by using the MAME download chd file. However I'm now struggling with Sega Strike Fighters. Similar loading problem but I can't solve it by using the chd file from the MAME download of the same game because there isn't a chd file.

Right, it works now but I'm getting 3 screens instead of one and because of that I can't go to fullscreen.
