No problem.
Spoiler warning:
While I agree that most vegan cheese is appalling and barely even edible (and that's coming from someone who loves most vegan food), a friend actually taught me a really, really good recipe for melted (only melted, though) mozzarella. Uses cashew nuts and tapioca starch, which gives it both the creaminess (from the nuts) and the stretchiness (from the tapioca), and it even browns and goes crispy on top like real cheese. So yummy, and the only vegan cheese substitute I've ever enjoyed. Even fooled several non-vegan friends into thinking it was real mozzarella when I stuck it on a pizza.
If it helps, there isn't actually any rotting / fermented meat in the dead body soup. It's just double fermented Korean miso paste (which is already quite a lot more pungent than Japanese miso paste due to its method of production). Smells appalling, though. We made it and our kitchen stunk for days afterward.
