please help can't make rar files into iso

i have winrar and 7zip but when i extract the files they become a bunch of files with the same name(cvn-ftpg) and then some at the end with cvn-ftpg30 then cvn-ftpg31 all the way to 44. im beyond stress ive been trying to extract these files for two days nothing ive seen online helped at all. please help out a newbie.

Split archives usually come with scene releases. Just use 7-zip on the first part (numbered like .001) and it will automatically extract from all parts.

i swear i just did that and it made a bunch of same name parts like i said. i know its asking alot but can we perhaps skype so i can share my screen with you? i hate to beg but please man.

Just post a screenshot of the files you have and that were extracted.

Extract all those files, when you have, right click on the "cvn-ftpg.rar" file and "extract here"

You haven't extracted it. You're looking at it within Winrar.

Highlight all the files in that screen, then click EXTRACT TO at the top. Choose your desktop. Then do what I said in the previous post.

While you're on that screen, select all the parts, then drag and drop them onto your desktop.

Then while you have a mess of 48 rar files strewn over your desktop, find "cvn-ftpg.rar", right-click on it and select "extract here".

It would probably be better to drop the files into a folder on the desktop, just so you don't have 40+files cluttering your desktop. Do as you will.

Certainly. But given his inability to understand browsing files inside Winrar, I'm not sure he understands what folders are yet. Best not to overdo this lesson.

The extract option is not there while looking at files via winrar you need to be looking at them via windows explorer

1. While in windows explorer Right click on Fairy_Tail_Portable_Guild_JPN_PSP-Caravan.rar and hit extract here either from 7-zip or winrar (I prefer 7-zip myself)
2. While in windows explorer Right click on cvn_ftpg.rar and again hit extract here

windows explorer is just what you use when you open a folder up and look at files while not using any 3rd party software like winrar

do not open files with winrar or 7-zip then try and extract that will either just not work or cause an error while trying to extract

if you do not have 7-zip or winrar's menu installed into windows right click menu you can open the rar file then hit up on the explorer so you are no longer inside the rar file then use extract here from there

Oversight on my part but I thought he'd be capable of shoving them into a folder on the desktop.
