VMU not recognized

So I started up Evolution on my NullDC with "nullDC VMU for logitech G-15 keyboards" and the VMU works fine, showing my stats and such, but when I go to save it keeps saying I need at least 8 blocks free. I've checked multiple times and it says the blocks are all free and other games are able to save just fine. Any ideas on how I can fix this would be great, would love to play the game.

Try using the top one on the VMU list or one of the Puru-Puru ones

I am sure one of the puru puru ones is required by some games though it has been a while since I tested via NullDC as I am a real console user as it does not need any modding to play CD-R backups anyway

Also check by booting into the bios first before starting a game and look at the VMU there it may just need formatting
