How to extract the .gdi (DC, Naomi, CHihiro....) from .CHD Please?

I try this instructions:

C:\Documents and Settings >chdman\chdman.exe extractcd -i H:\gdx-0014a.chd -o H:\gdx-0014a.gdi

but I have this message:

chdman - MAME Compressed Hunks of Data (CHD) manager 0.145u3 (Feb 28 2012)
Error opening CHD file (H:\gdx-0014a.chd): unknown compression type
