    Well time to test this.

We have only one province named for an island but I am from a province that shares a name with one. The people think themselves Italian but their blood runs pink. I'm specifically located in the capital.

Can you find me or shall I instead baptize this city in fire and move on to a new land?

Okey dokey, PEI is the province named from an island but you are "from a province that shares a name with one", Nova Scotia means New Scotland, Scotland is on an Island. Capital of Nova Scotia is Halifax.
I honestly have no idea what the Italian connection is though?

Yes, I know a couple of words of Irish Gaelic despite my full name being incredibly Irish which can lead to embarrassing situations when I talk to people who are fluent in it.

Alright perhaps a little too rough. But everywhere is technically part of an island. I was thinking more direct. And self referential. But the jist is

You get no points as Scotland is Britain's hat. Our provincial flower is carnivorous, named for a vat.

But I suppose I should just burn this town down. Again I mean.

In all fairness I said Scotland is ON an island, I presumed you where a little confused. But nothing else fits, none of the other provinces share a name with an island. If it's not PEI or Nova Scotia I'm very confused.

I'm cheating slightly. The province is named after the island located inside the province.

    Yo dawg and such.

Also the flag bit was about the fact that our old national flag was exactly like the italian one except the red (blood) is instead pink (because reasons).

Fuck you all I thought it was brilliant.

    Jerks.

I probably should have worked in a french connection with our current one being blue, white, and red.

But come on, I can't keep this shit up all day.
