    On the previous points, hardware and emulation both have their own pros and cons but emulation becomes more and more practical as time passes, on one hand emulators get better at emulating the platform and get more and more sophisticated, and on the other hand the console's failure rates go higher as they get older.

    I only use emulation because LOL FUCK THOSE PRICES FOR SNES GAMES
    Tbh emulation will get close, but almost never completely perfect, and for the console point, proper care will make that shit last an extremely long time.

    Seriously not a fan of Byuu, only good thing he did was make the in code MSU1 SNES chip,

    THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
