Mame + Mess ?

I'm new here!
And sorry for my English!

I've the Mame v0.162 (64b) downloaded here : http://mamedev.org/
It writed : "MESS is now integral part of MAME and will be distributed as such"

I saw MESS can emulate Old Nitendo and Sega Game Console (like Snes, Megadrive, Sega Master System)
I put my Arcade ROM and my Snes/Megadrive/Sega Master System ROM inside the <roms> directory

When i launch mame64.exe if i can see all my arcade games and play it without problems, all my Snes/Megadrive/Sega Master System ROM are not displayed/recognized by it !!!

Then how i can play with my old Console Game with MESS integrated with MAME like it's writed ?

huh, first i've heard of this. i think it's just the MAME and MESS projects that have merged. don't think the 2 emulators have. so MAME probably still won't be emulating anything other than arcade games leaving the other stuff to MESS. i could be mistaken though.

i just grabbed the latest MAMEUI version (163) and it's still the same old arcade emulator with no mention of console emulation.
