Broken MAME games

I don't mind the MAME games being on here that obviously don't work at all, but could it warn you?

Like Dead or Alive 2, download the rom, then the CHD just to find out it don't work...as in MAME states This does not work, noting you can do about it....well there was 90 mins lost.

Can't these games be flagged with a warning for us so if we download we know ahead of time?

just looked in MAMEUI64 0.154 and the game you tried is listed as not working (red).

it does, if, in the emulator, the game is shown as red (not working) in the "all games" list then it clearly won't work likewise if it's green (working) it will work though it's common to still expect some minor issues such as audio/graphics problems. you just have to check in the emulator first and it tells you quite clearly if it works or not, also take into account how some games need the necessary bios files as well.
