bosconian not working

hai has anyone got bosconian to work for mame it's not working for me for whatever reason

MAMEUI64 0.152, odd, the parent and all child versions of that ROM are listed green for working condition though it does say the video emulation isn't 100% accurate.

which version of the ROM are you trying to use? if it's any of the child versions (midway new, midway old, old, older) then you need the parent ROM as well as those. should be able to just download then drop the zip file in the ROMs folder (don't unzip them) > refresh the available list in the emulator and they should show up as playable.

off topic but i just noticed all of the donpachi games are now green in the listing. i can finally play Dai-OuJou and Bee Storm without any major issues. come, DonPachi (giant bee), let's dance again.

i don't mind which which version i get but i cant get any of them to work i downloaded all of them and put them in my roms folder but they wont work its working fine with other games like mappy asteroids etc... but bosconian isnt working

ok, theres the problem. seems the parent ROM (that "new" version) is missing some files.

problem solved, download the following roms to the ROM folder:

Bosconian (new version)
namco50
namco51
namco52
namco53
namco54

a parent rom requiring 5 other roms to run correctly, sheesh. at least those namco files are only 4kb each.

i just downloaded all 5 to test and it works fine.

whoops, didn't notice your reply but yeah, MAME roms > N for the namco roms and B for the bosconian rom
