Thats a shame man, Dragon Quest 5/6/9 on DS and DQ 8 on PS2 are quite excellent and are must plays.

DQ 4 on DS as well if you can look past the yokel speak and absence of the party chat which fleshed out the characters and helped direct you while on the world map.

That should be suggested to be added back along with other things that made the forum not bland.
From what I remember those were all hacks, and either the newest versions of VB don't support them, or they leave us vulnerable security-wise. I can't exactly remember, but there was a reason the market was removed. Still sucks though.

Don't forget that the Dragon Quest V remake for PS2 got fan translated as well. Which IMO is the definitive version, as long as you haven't played it on SNES/DS previously.

I agree with DQIV's "accents", I didn't like them at all either. Though I managed to ignore them enough to play through it.

You can check under their profile, under the "about me" tab. Sometimes they'll have previous usernames there.

That's cool, I never did get around to play DQV on the DS very much. Though I played the hell out of it on the SNES. It's one of my favorite DQ games anyway, so I could see myself replaying each remake regardless just to see the various changes.

I also wish SE would pull their heads out of their asses and release the DQVII remake for 3DS over here.

Ya the bastards, quit with the fucking Final Fantasies that are farther from the original concept as possible, get back to the actual good shit.

In case I sound like I'm stoned without any of the buzz.........I am, sleeping pill that does nothing but make me trip balls instead of making me sleepy, man my keyboard got small...........

Yeah I haven't given a crap about a Final Fantasy game in quite some time. Dragon Quest was always one of my favorite series though, right up there with the original Phantasy Star series.

You should just smoke a little pot instead of those sleeping pills, it's a good sleep-aid, and it doesn't have horrible side-effects like a lot of those sleeping pills do.
