Akira, Ninja Scroll Quite a few of Hayao Miyazaki's films although they seem more like childrens movies.
I've also got some Appleseed & Neon Genesis Evangelion.
I recommend the Ninja Scroll film if you've never seen it, but I'd be a little surprised if you haven't.

But yeah I'm not a huge fan of anime, like most movies/tv shows there's a lot of crap.

Watch Ninja Scroll dude, it's a genuine classic. It was remastered and uncut on DVD many years ago (for the 10th anniversary I believe).
