    That must be shitty.

At least with my job I'm always on mornings, so I go to bed around 9/10PM and get up at 5AM. On my days off I normally wake up around 7-8AM.

That does sound awful. I deliver newspapers from like, midnight to five AM or so. The hours are fairly consistent, but since most of the world sleeps at night it totally wrecks my sleeping rhythm when I have to interact with the rest of the world.

Morning shifts are great . When you are done you still have the afternoon. Only downside you have to be in bed very early.

I used to be on permenant afternoons, but did the summer night shift for the extra money. Its only temporary because summer is a busy time at our company. Hopefully I will be put back on afternoons and not rotating. I couldn't handle that

Sleeping during the day is never fun. At the moment the Ice cream man is my mortal enemy

I recently moved into a house that has anti burglar shutters on all the doors and windows. If I don't want to see the sun, I don't have to. It's awesome.

I'm pretty fine with early nights and early mornings, except in winter anyway. That's when it's hardest to get up and out of bed, when it's freezing cold and pitch black.

Whoop whoop! Really good story and (at the time) the graphics were really bloody pretty! (On PS3 anyway, I'm sure PC is 10x better)

What kind of tree? Is it growing there by your intention or did you wake up one day to find a tree in the middle of your living room?

I exaggerated it was a vine growing through a hole behind the curtain rail (didn't notice it til I looked )

Jealous. I've been considering getting thicker curtains at some point but I'll probably be back on days by that point/

Winters are the worst. Hopefully you don't have far to travel. The roads can be dangerous in the early mornings

I don't mind day shifts, I did night shifts and they were awful, I also really like flexi time.

We had some sun a few weeks ago, honest.
