Yeah Metrotown is the only one still around AFAIK. It's a shame when good burger places disappear, I don't even know where to find a Harvey's anymore
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

I don't go downtown so I wouldn't know that. I'm aware there's a 5 Guys down there, but it's more practical to drive through downtown and hit the North Van location (or even go out to Coquitlam) than it is to stop in downtown.

I like textbooks over PDF's or any other form of learning for that matter. I bought:

Let's Learn Japanese Basic I - Composite Ed.
    Let's Learn Hiragana
    Let's Learn Katakana
    and
    Let's Learn Kanji

All were remarkably cheap in spite of the ratings. Pretty soon I'll be needing someone to speak with so I will have to find a place to buy people.

Shipping to and from Canada is pretty sketchy. As if 'this' market is anything but sketch.

I got in the mail the other day a 128GB flash drive when I had ordered a 16GB SD card.

I'm just going to not tell the seller about this slightly costly to them little mix up...

Made a trip back to Traverse City so I could pick up the rest of my junk from the Ex's and bought:
    Danny Elfman - So-Lo (CD)
    Cherry Sours
    Japanese/English Dictionary

marked up a stack of ide/pata harddisks.
ten in all, ranging from 200g to 500g.
picking them up next day or so, couldn't be arsed humping them about today, plus it's an excuse to LOAF for half an hour and have a pot of coffee with good company.
for ten ide harddisks, twenty pounds sterling for the job lot.
    ...
    pfft!
charlie sheen knew his shit, why didn't he point out the status-quo sooner?

Bought two 54-HP sets of rails for my eurorack synth. I have dozens of designs to test but haven't had any rails to mount them in! One row will be 3U and the other is for 1U while my cheeks can support another row of 3U but I could only spend so much.

    ^^ AWESOME!
if only i could get ALL the cad models used for the ships, then it's a wrap.
would like to see hi-def renderings of b5 stuff.
    ...
the scale models are pretty sweet, doubt i'd find any, namely the CCCP leonov inspired omega class heavy destroyers, or even the omega-X advanced destroyer. (shadow tech hybrid)
    ...
is it me, or was it a bit depressing the b5-crusade spin off never got completed?!

I finally got around to picking up the complete series of Ninja Sentai Kakuranger from Shout! Factory. I cannot wait until November to get my copy of Chouriki Sentai Ohranger.

I also finally bought first full season of Sailor Moon.
