Default Some questions about softmodding the Wii U.

I just got a Wii U and have been looking into this. Although I already have a modded Wii, being able to replace it with my Wii U would be nice. Based on what I read, you need an exploitable game like Smash Brawl to do it. My main question is, after you mod the system do you need to keep the disc in everytime you want to play ISOs? My next question is will every homebrew app that works on Wii work on vWii? Like Ocarina/Gecko cheat codes. And can I use the same harddrive for ISOs and Wii U stuff like installed games.

    Thanks in advance.

IF you get the homebrew channel then I see no reason you would need a disc inserted after the mod

I would not know for sure though I only have my Wii modded and do not own a WiiU yet
