Default Final Fantasy VIII ePSXe not running

Hi everybody, I got a problem with Final Fantasy VIII (italian). When I try to run any of the CDs with ePSXe the screen becomes black and in the up right corner of the screen appears a little writing that says "run 1 analog on". And that's it. The game doesn't start at all. How can I fix this problem?

    It's just copy protection

There are three ways round this

    1. Use the patches folder of ePSXe to store patches in, see the patches at http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php?67412 for more info and the actual patch files

    2. Patch the disc images directly with ppf-o-matic (if you use the patches from the aove you will need to rename them to have .ppf at the end of the file name)

    3. Use sbi files via P.E.Op.S. CDR plugin via the subchannel data part of the setup for it. Sbi files can be found at www.redump.org, just look for the game/disc listed there open up the details and it is linked at the top of the page

    There is another one:
    - Download the sbi file of your version from the PSX Datacenter and extract it on the patches folder of ePSXe. It should work that way.
