    Unhappy Graphical errors (PSP)

    Hi,
I want to play Persona 1 on my PC and tried the PPSSPP v1.0 emulator, but I have some graphical errors and everything seems so blurry. How can I fix it?

    -white line below "ATLUS"
    -white lines on every "w"
-white borders on the character potraits and lines below the Moon

This will probably lead to more graphical problems. Help please.

I'm not terribly familiar with PSP emulation, but those glitches look very, very minor compared to the sort you should worry about too much. May as well get a bit into the game to see if it does actually get worse right?

The blurriness could be a couple of different things. Bilinear filtering could be enabled, which would blur the fine details like that. If you're using a software mode plugin for video, that could cause it too. It could also be that its set to a low resolution, so it gets stretched out.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

I agree I don't see that as being an issue

I will say try software mode though if you have not already preferably without a filter in place and for now use the correct resolution or multiples of the res, you can play with filters after

Also remember that the PSP runs at a rather low res to start with

Hardware modes like Open GL and Direct 3D can cause effects like shown in the screen grabs, but correcting the res can fix those sometimes

Because of the Aspect Ratio you should have borders on the top and bottom of the screen if running at full screen, keep that correct then you might find that the first display error could be fixed, might not though depends on the emulation also as it is far from perfect yet, not bad though either but not 100% perfect with everything, not many emulators are though even older systems

GTA San Andreas - Hot Coffee [COMPLETE]

GTA San Andreas - Real Car Names extra content mod [WIP] [Back burner, just won't have the time ]

I'm a big noob in emulating, not sure how I can see if I use software mode or not or how I can change it (is that software rendering?)...
    Thanks for your answers though.

I tried to change some emulator settings (and the aspect ratio of the window, I really shouldn't play this on Fullscreen) and I think it looks quite good now: http://imgur.com/a/H0xi0
The only thing that still annoys me is that the bottom line on the border (selection) is not straight on picture 1. Out of this I conclude there are more small things like that which I don't notice, but I would like to emulate it as near to the PSP as possible.

My graphics settings for PPSSPP are:
    Spoiler warning:

    Backend: OpenGL

    Spline/Bezier curves quality: Medium

    Texture upscale level: 2x
    Upscale type: xBRZ
    Deposzerize: no check

    Anisotropic filtering: Off

    Screen scaling filter: Linear

    Timer hack: check

    Disable stencil test: check
    Force depth write: no check
    Texture coord speedhack (speedup): check
    Lower resolution for effects: Balanced

    Software rendering (experimental): no check

Any way I can still improve it?
