That is not going to run well in most of the games.If you turn down all graphic quality to 1 ,you could achieve some "playable" speeds.

well your computer seems good, but now since i dont know what revision there is a bug in the emulator that is making the emulator work slower than usual.
you can try some older revision if it works i had a lot of those and worked flawlesly in the forums they said your laptop wont be able to run it but it was a lie.
this were my specs at that time
laptop hp pavilion g6 gaming edition
processor amd 2 cores phisical,2 virtual 2.33 ghz
amd radeon Hd 4200 1GB
3gb DDR3 gaming ram
as i said this were my specs i losted 1gb of gaming ram but still works a little slower in the new versions,as i said try the older ones because in the last 3000 revisions the compatibility hasnt changed at all just try it
