Default GameCube & Triforce arcade games on Wii & WiiU

    Hardware Options

Wii Original Version with GC ports (Memory cards and Controllers)
Wii Later Version with no GC ports (Memory cards and Controllers)
WiiU using vWii also has no GC ports (Memory cards and Controllers)

Best system to use is still currently the original Wii version, but very little can't be done on the Later Wii and WiiU anyway

I am not going to go through the process of modding the Wii in the first place so this presumes you already have the homebrew channel installed

    About Nintendont

    Features:-
Works on Wii and vWii on Wii U
Full speed loading from an USB device, or a SD card
Loads 1:1 and compressed .ISO disc images
Loads games as extracted files (FST)
    Play retail discs (Wii only)
Play backups from writable DVD media (Wii only)
    Memory card emulation
    Use real memory card
Play audio via disc audio streaming
Bluetooth controller support (Classic Controller (Pro), Wii U Pro Controller)
    HID controller support via USB
Custom button layout when using HID controllers
    Cheat code support
    WiiRd (Wii only)
    Changeable configuration of various settings
    Reset/Power off via button combo (R + Z + Start) (R + Z + B + D-Pad Down)
Advanced video mode patching, force progressive and force 16:9 widescreen
    Auto boot from loader
    Disc switching
Allow use of the Nintendo GameCube Microphone
Use the official Nintendo GameCube controller adapter

    What NINTENDONT doesn't do yet:
    BBA/Modem support

    What NINTENDONT will never support:
    Game Boy Player
    GBA-Link cable

    Installation of Loader

Just create a Nintendont folder inside your S\apps or USB:\apps folder, download loader.dol to that folder and rename it to boot.dol (or download as and name it boot.dol there)
You can also download meta.xml & icon.png to the same folder to give it a proper icon and description

    Installation of games

Formatted space as FAT32 with 32KB clusters
USB or SD use the same path
    games\game name [code]\game.iso
two disc games should have disc 1 names game.iso and disc 2 named disc2.iso
    e.g. [single disc game]
    \games\Zelda Wind Waker [GZLP01]\game.iso
    e.g. [multi disc game]
    \games\Tales of Symphonia [GQSEAF]\game.iso
    \games\Tales of Symphonia [GQSEAF]\disc2.iso

    Running

Simply start up the Homebrew Channel (or Homebrew loader via more modern USB loaders) and load up Nintendont from there

Once running you must select SD or USB for loading (even if you plan to run from disc)
Once there you can press B on the Wii Mote/Wii U controller to bring up extra options,
If you need to change anything press A on it or press B to return to your games list

For those wanting to use GC pads and memcards don't need to change anything (Native Control set to On is a good idea otherwise the Wii Mote may default as a controller if you have something attached to it)
For those wanting to use Wii motes with a Classic Pad also don't need to change anything
For those wanting to use a USB HID controller then enable Use HID device
For those that have GC Memcards do not need to change anything
For those wanting to use a Virtual memcard need to enable Memcard Emulation

Once everything is setup the way you want, hit B to return to the games list and hit A on the game you want to play

    Other Options

Dios Mios is another option for GameCube games though a little out of date it still supports GC-GBA link up, but this is only really any good for Wii original version owners but does add a few game features and enables more to be playable
