    FF 9 is just full of charm and that sense of "adventure" .

    seriously its underrated as hell and its not hard, I know you could plow through it , all 4 CDs of it
    THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
    If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

    I stopped being a square fanboy after FF 9 , they were the best on the PSX then turned into crap on PS2 and above, 4 Heroes of Light and the remakes are decent though.

    Yeah the battle system gets a lot of hate but it’s amazingly useful once you’re used to it. It gives you so much control over the party AI. I really wish more RPGs had it.

    Just a great game through and through. The heavy (and I mean HEAVY) Star Wars influence doesn’t hurt either.
