It has a pretty strong chemically flavor and flatish taste for most of my Sencha/green teas.

It works fine with some blacks but there is obviously something other than natural minerals added in and it's just ruining brews.

I think chlorine and iodine are commonly used. Fluoride is there too, but afaik that doesn't affect taste.
