Default Shadow of Colossus Sword Pixels

Anyone have an idear on what could cause white blocky pixels to show up along the side of the sword in the game? I have tried turning speedhacks on and off, running it on dx10 mod for the video plugin, and i've tried native resolution and 2X and 3X native resolution settings. As far as I know, no other extra "tweaks" are turned on.

Which PCSX2 version did you use?

Enable the HW hacks on GSdx settings, and also the Half-Pixel Offset as well (click the configure button).

Run the game and load the ingame save, see if there any changes.
    vc3 released.

I just tried the most recent version of pcsx2 with recommended settings. I still have the same issue but it's not as pixelated anymore. I believe it to be the shine effect from the light shining on the sword at certain angles, and the shine effect is disconnected from the blade.

Try turning on texture filtering and anisotropic filtering
Could you post screenshots of the problem?
