Is It worth it to Hack a PS Vita?

I'm looking at hacking my PS Vita, I already have a hacked PS Go mainly for retro gaming. But I've wanted to hack a vita since it would be better for such games like FPS and driving games and whatnot...

I guess what I'm Really asking is this, If I hack my Vita (which im not entirely sure how to do or how safe it is) Can it do all the things my Hacked PSP can do?? IE run emulators such as NES,SNES,SEGA,GB,GBA,GBC. and also play PS1, PSP games.

From what I have read, the vita can emulate ps1 and PSP games, so it is worth more than owning a PSP that is hacked. If you have the cash, go for it. Be aware that you probably have to have a low firmware version though. I have not looked j to compats
