Default Having sound problems on some games

Hello. Recently, I've been having a bit of trouble with some APE files. Now, before you all tell me to look at the stickied thread, I did. I decompressed the APE files, converted the WAV files into BIN files, and I used ISOBuster to combine the remaining BIN files into one BIN file. However, the games I'm trying to get to run with music (Silouhette Mirage, Time Bokan series: Doronbo) still don't have the music. Any suggestions?

Do you have a .cue file to go with the completed .bin file? If so make sure you're loading that with your emulator and not the .bin file. If you don't have it, here's a link to Zorlons PS1 cue pack which should have it; http://www.emuparadise.org/PSX/cues%20and%20sbis.zip. If you use one from this pack and it won't load the game, open the .cue file in notepad and make sure the file name listed near the top (the .bin one) matches the file name of the games .bin file exactly.

If that doesn't help, maybe try using a different sound plugin. If you're not already using Eternal SPU I would recommend trying that, you can download it here. Assuming you're using ePSXe, just extract the .zip file to the plugins folder in your emulators folder, then in ePSXe click Config > Sound then select the plugin from the dropdown list.
"I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

I wanna thank you for your help. Eventually, I found a version of Doronbo with the bin and cue ready to go, but there was still no sound. I switched the sound plug in to ePSXe SPU Core and it worked. I'll try it again if I have problems with any other games.
