Default Can't play burnt suikoden II stops loading at logo

I currently own a chipped playstation 1. I tried multiple times to play suikoden 2 on it with several CD's of it using alchohol 120% and img burn. And everytime none of them will go past the logo screen on the playstation menu. Iv'e had a similar problem with other isos as well from this site. Any ideas on what I have done wrong, or why isos from this site seem to not work when burned.

What is the region and can you give me the CRC32?

use a program like Hashcalc to check the CRC32, or if the bin/img file is not ecm compressed you can just open the compressed archive and click on the bin/img and hit info, it should tell you.

the region is ntsc u, and I tried it again on my chipped playstation and it begins to run the game after 3-4 attempts on average. Its strange because it has no problems running regular games or other games I burned prior to this year.

what Gobby said check the crc value for the game it should 7fbe0579 or 7FBE0579

You can use something like HashCalc that will let you know what the crc value of the binary dis image is

if it's not the disc image and you burned at the slowest possible speed (setting imgburn to 1x guarantee's that) then it is very likely it's the media you are burning on to that is the issue
