magus, i appreciate your editing of my xclusive xbox review, but microsoft has planned their online launch for march 5th and sony has not even set a date, or nintendo for that matter. so leave out that kind of crap from my stuff ok, cause it is wrong!

He did that to my Castlevania review too. Now dont get me wrong. I have much respect for Magus. And if he has to make a few edits to get my review/s grammatically correct, thats cool. But I dont like the idea of anyone adding words to my review that arent mine without notifying readers of that fact. I think if you have to do that Magus then let us know man. You've given me alot of leeway on my reviews, so dont think I'm unappriciative, but I just think that any major changes to the text of our reviews should be ran by the author of the review first. Thanks.

Reminds me of the stories between J.R.R. Tolkien and Houghton Mifflin, the publisher of the Lord of the Rings. The publisher would change certain words to match the spelling in other fantasy books like Elven to Elfin, Elvish to Elfish, and Dwarves to Dwarfs.

Also, when I shared a website, I had disputes over the logo with my partner. So I designed up a new one and my partner thought it was a bit to dark and brightened it up, but then it wouldn't match the background. Problems popped up and we didn't resolve them, so I kind of abandoned the site to make my own.

I feel a comprimise is needed here between the editor and the contributors. I suggest that the editor marks his edits. Between paragraphs and at the end...

Again, edits themselves are welcome. Sure I graduated High School, but proper grammer wasnt my best subject. If Magus has to make changes to grammer and punctuation, then so be it. I just dont want a paragraph added to my review all willy nilly. If he makes some suggestions on how to make the review that much better, then I'm all for it. I take almost all creative critisism into account. I'm not a journalist after all, I have more then enough room for improvement. It's just pretty jarring to check your review and see something there that you never typed. Thats my only gripe. Again, no disrespect intended Magus. I just call it like it is my freind.

He did it on my THPS3 review as well. I don't really mind, but it's a little bit annoying to spend a couple of hours wording the review exactly how you want it and then seeing it on the site a few days later and finding that it's been altered.

I added the Chronicles note to the Castlevania review because I thought anyone reading would be interested in knowing about a re-release of it. But I was mistaken and the game was not in fact a remake so I removed that remark. Your info isn't exactly right either Gandalf. You need to check your info before giving it to me. Microsoft has set a date but it wil change. So far nothing they have promised has happened on their specified date. And they haven't annmounced an on-line partner or a server yet. They have in Japan but not here. Sony is planning the same date as Microsoft but they already have plans set with Time Warner and they already have a tmeporary server up for THPS3. That is why I edited your because your info wan't exactly right. I don't remember altering your THPS3 review Cosmic.

You made a few minor changes (I put it was nigh on impossible to find fault with the game, you changed it to downright impossible). Like I said before though, I don't mind. I just thought I'd mention it since Cyber and Gandalf did.

I also have deadlines to deal with so I don't have time to e-mail someone and ask them to edit a part of the review. You won't see this from me again though I promise. You also will see less gramatical altering because I won't have time for it.
